The Pirate Bay Trial
It seems the trial against several prominent folks at The Pirate Bay has drawn to a close. Unfortunately the end result is a guilty verdict.
This sets a really bad precedent for the RIAA/MPAA and their ability to prosecute those that run sites such as TPB (a smear campaign which is of questionable motive and value, and seems to so often resort to dirty tactics to ream money in the name of “lost sales”, not a cent of which ends up back in the hands of the artists). Here’s hoping that any appeal is successful.
